The world of modern technology continues to evolve rapidly. As a result, familiar smart TVs have replaced innovative, more compact and affordable TV boxes. Many users are wondering whether it is possible to use an X96 smart TV box to make an old TV "smarter" and extend its lifespan. It seems there are no problems here, except for one: older TVs don't have an HDMI input. So what can be done here? The answer is in the rest of this article.
Connect the x96 smart TV box to an old TV
To do this, look for a TV box model with composite outputs, which are usually three in number: Yellow for video connection. Red and white for audio.
The TV must have identical inputs. The connection is made using a 3RCA-3RCA cable equipped with three "tulips" on each end. To avoid confusion, each end has its own color. As soon as the X96 smart TV box is connected, the TV switches to a mode that provides video output.
Modern TVs with advanced hardware no longer use outdated sockets. Instead, they install an AV output, the cable for which is not always included in the package. Otherwise, you will have to purchase an adapter.
In specialized stores, the electronic warehouse also offers video signal converters, or, more simply, converters. One option is the HDMI2AV model. Via the HDMI input, a smart TV box X96 is connected to it, and via the 3RCA-3RCA cable, the signal is transmitted to the TV.
